Why Canada?

According to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 2016, there were approximately 152,650 firefighters (career and e volunteer firefighters) in Canada during the period 2014 to 2016.

Stringent fire safety regulations and norms are propelling the growth of the market in Canada. All Loss fires reported in Canada have been about 10,473 in 2020. Structure fires were about 63% (2019) of the total fires with loss. Due to the presence of a variety of jobs in Canada, which can use positioning systems to reduce their work risks, Safe has the potential to find its consumers in Canada’s market.

In Canada, a good percentage of banks, homes, offices, public facilities, and government facilities have fire protection equipment installed in strategic positions, and it is sometimes made compulsory. This goes to show that there is indeed a large market for the fire safety equipment installation business. This way, our product can use the building plans data and integrate it to provide more realistic and accurate 3D positioning.

For Firefighters & Non-commissioned ranks of the Canadian Armed Forces, over the period 2019-2028, new job openings (arising from expansion demand and replacement demand) are expected to total 12,100, while 12,100 new job seekers (arising from school leavers, immigration and mobility) are expected to be available to fill them.

Employment prospects for firefighters are good in Canada. Government data indicates that the labour market for this profession will be balanced in the near future. Job openings will result from both expansion demand and retirements.

Additionally, the Canadian government support any innovation in safety, Many Canadian funds and grants and tax benefits for innovative Startup like SAFE can benefit from them, there is access to investment platform and North American potential investors and the Canadian government welcomes many educated and talented immigrants whom these Canadian talents can help Startup to develop and grow.

We plan to target other industries as well as fire safety. Considering the potential of our product, mining, climbing, and mountaineering, and police/security, Nursing, Oil and petrochemical, Animation industries can also be targeted down the road.

As a case in point, Canada produces about 60 mineral and metallic elements among 200 mines and 6500 mines of stone and sand. In 2019, mines formed 5% of the GDP in Canada, which is equal to USD 109 billion. In underground coal mines, working conditions and geological disturbance-related hazards are very prominent. Working under the ground has other dangers such as no GPS being available for positioning. Our position finder system product is completely available where no GPS is working. It makes it possible to find the position with high accuracy or the slightest fault. Considering the importance of the mining industry in Canada and its potential risk, our product is effective to locate and monitor miners’ health and safety.
